Kayla Gothier, MBA, MS, currently serves as President of the Jacksonville Chapter ALA, having previously held the roles of President Elect and Communications Director, where responsibilities included managing digital marketing strategies and maintaining the chapter's online presence. At Akerman LLP, Kayla has extensive experience as Office & Senior Paralegal Administrator, overseeing administrative management for over 27 attorneys and 10 support staff, and collaborating with national administrative departments. Prior roles at Akerman include Interim Office Administrator and Paralegal specializing in real estate transactions. Kayla began legal career as a Legal Assistant at Davenport, Evans, Hurwitz & Smith and has a robust educational background, holding an MBA from the University of Iowa, an MS from Saint Joseph's University, and a B.S. from Florida Gulf Coast University among other degrees.
