Ralph Peterson

Ralph Peterson is the current Assistant Head of School for Finances at Akiba Yavneh Academy. Prior to their current position, Ralph was the Division Controller at Omega Studios, a Division of RR Donnelley in Chicago. Ralph was responsible for envisioning, developing, implementing and managing all Accounting, IT, and Human Resource systems and controls. Ralph also prepared budgets, forecasts and financial reporting for operational and capital expense by department. In addition, Ralph negotiated a real estate lease for a build-to-suit 75,000 square-foot building, resulting in 2-years free rent and escalating payment terms. Ralph was also the general contractor for an office renovation with a $300,000 budget and successfully negotiated with suppliers and labor for a successful, under-budget project.

Ralph Peterson's educational career began at the University of North Texas, where they studied accounting. After graduation, they began their career as an accountant.

They are on a team with Rabbi Yaakov Green - Head of School, Noel Gross - Director of Marketing and Communications, and Marcy Kahn - Director of Development. Ralph Peterson reports to Chris Gorycki, Interim Executive Director.
