Michael Tijero

Michael Tijero is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the railway industry. Currently serving as the Regional Manager for Scandinavia at Akiem Technik since June 2023, Michael has previously held roles such as Project Consultant at SJ AB and Senior Consultant - Rolling Stock at Siama AB in early 2023. From November 2017 to February 2023, Michael worked at Hector Rail AB as Fleet Manager, overseeing the management of approximately 40 modern locomotives across Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Germany. Earlier career experiences include positions as Engineering Team Coordinator and Management Trainee at Hector Rail AB and as a Statistician at SCB, Statistiska centralbyrån. Michael co-founded Doppelgänger AB, serving as COO from January 2013 to June 2015. Educational qualifications include a degree in Anläggningsingenjör from Nackademin, supplemented by training at Framfot and Berghs School of Communication.
