Sohanur Rahaman Sohan

Sohanur Rahaman Sohan currently serves as the Group Deputy COO at Akij Resources Limited, where the focus is on optimizing business operations to enhance efficiency and achieve healthy net profits. Previously, Sohan held the position of Head of Operational Excellence, driving innovative strategies and team development across the organization. As a Co-Founder and COO of TrainMen, Sohan aims to bridge the gap between theoretical and practical knowledge in the professional landscape. Prior experience includes roles at Urmi Group as Assistant Manager of Operational Excellence, and at Epyllion Group in various capacities related to Industrial Engineering, honing skills in process development and performance evaluation. Sohan holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, an MBA in Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management from Bangladesh University of Professionals, and is pursuing a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification from Dr. Mikel J Harry Six Sigma Management Institute Asia.
