Lakshmi Anantharamu, PhD

Lakshmi Anantharamu, PhD began their career in 2001 as a Lead Technical Specialist and Lead Programmer Analyst at CIGNA. In 2009, they moved to the University of Colorado Denver as a Graduate Research Assistant. In 2012, they joined BlackBox Logic, LLC as a Principal Algorithms Engineer. In 2017, they became the CTO and Founder of Akila Labs, an AI/ML company focused on health and wellness, personal finance, and smart city initiatives. In this role, they are responsible for creating products, bringing in technology and algorithmic solutions, and all aspects of end to end product development.

Lakshmi Anantharamu holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Science (Theory & Algorithms) from the University of Colorado Denver, a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National Institute of Engineering.
