Bryan Betzer

Bryan Betzer is the current Engagement Director at Akili. Bryan has held this position since July 2014. Prior to that, they were with PDS Tech, Inc. from May 2004 to July 2014 as their Vice President - Finance and Controller. Bryan was responsible for accounting, financial reporting, treasury, risk management administration, payroll & invoicing, accounts payable & receivable, and all other related financial support operations. Bryan completed a six-year operational reconfiguration for this $400mm services firm to enhance enterprise stability and scalability. This included tasks such as systems integration, redefining functional departments & roles, process reengineering and standardization across a 25 branch hub & spoke system.

From January 2003 to December 2004, Bryan was the Finance Manager at Spectrum Supply Chain Services, a Tibbett & Britton company. Bryan reported to the Director of Finance and was responsible for budgeting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting financial and operational results for this $60 million, multi-site subsidiary of a public, international logistics firm. Bryan extended financial reporting to mid-level managers on a systematic basis, fostering greater awareness and sensitivity to the financial repercussions of operations decisions.

Bryan Betzer has a MBA from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business, an Applied BA from Occidental College, and a High School diploma from Holland Hall. Bryan is certified from Anaplan in Re-Certified Model Builder 1 & 2 and from CFA Institute in CFA.
