John Robison DML has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. John began their career in the United States Army, where they served as a Chief Warrant Officer, managing logistics budgets and leading maintenance efforts for multiple organizations across various locations.
After leaving the army, John worked as a Product Service Supervisor at DENTSPLY Professional, overseeing daily department operations and implementing strategies to increase efficiency and quality.
John then moved on to Asia America Corp, where they served as the Operations Director, managing client accounts and assisting in the development of prototype parts for original equipment manufacturers.
Following this, John joined Stanley Associates as a Project Manager, where they successfully managed multiple maintenance and logistical initiatives, including warehouse operations and just-in-time supply delivery.
John then joined the United States Air Force, initially serving as the Chief of the Ground Branch, where they supported sensitive real-world missions. Later, they became the Chief of Advanced Concepts, leading a team of data scientists and engineers in creating innovative data presentation forms and retrieving raw data at scale.
After their tenure in the Air Force, John worked at Air Force Acquisition as the Deputy Director of the Advanced Capabilities Division, providing objective information for Air Force investment decisions and prioritizing streamlined program execution.
Currently, John serves as the Deputy Program Manager and Project Manager at Akima Data Management. In this role, they manage various support plans and activities, including portfolio management, program review support, and responses to reports and audits from stakeholders. John is also involved in developing a revised approach for satisfying annual reporting requirements and expanding the officer structure.
Throughout their career, John has showcased strong leadership skills, planning capabilities, and a dedication to organizational management.
John Robison DML received their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Organizational Leadership & Professional Communication from Duquesne University, which they completed from 2002 to 2007. John then pursued an advanced level of Project Management at Defense Acquisition University, where they are currently enrolled and expected to complete their studies in 2022. Prior to their university education, John completed their high school education at HHS from 1978 to 1981, with a focus on General Studies.
John has also obtained the certification of Project Manager - Advanced from Defense Acquisition University in December 2022.
