Nate Barnes

Nate Barnes is a seasoned Software Engineer currently employed at ManTech since September 2023 and has been with Akimeka, LLC since December 2011, where responsibilities include front and back-end web development utilizing Java, JSF, JBOSS Seam, Hibernate, and Oracle DB, along with modernizing legacy JSP/Struts systems to Spring. Previous experience includes roles as a QA Engineer at Akimeka and Anonymizer, where Nate led projects involving manual test plans and the development of automated solutions using Perl and Ruby/Watir, as well as serving as Lead QA Engineer for Foxmarks Inc. Additionally, Nate worked in computer operations at the Maui High Performance Computing Center, developing software for government projects, including a program that gathered and processed weather data from NOAA buoys. Nate holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Point Loma Nazarene University, obtained in May 2003.
