Christa Plumley has a diverse work background with experience in customer success, coaching, startup assistance, facilitation, and consulting. Christa started their career at Akindi in 2017 as a Customer Success Lead, where they built relationships with customers and drove revenue through successful pilots. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2022, they worked as an Artistic Swimming Coach at various clubs, including the Toronto Artistic Swimming Club and Kawartha Trent Synchro Club. In this role, they provided skill development and training for athletes and fostered positive attitudes and good sportsmanship. From 2015 to 2016, they also served as a Startup Experience Assistant at The DMZ, connecting startup founders with appropriate resources. Furthermore, in 2015, they were a BUS 100 - Strategies for Success Facilitator at Toronto Metropolitan University, where they led breakout sessions and built relationships with first-year students. Additionally, they worked as a Startup Consultant at SAGE Canada from 2014 to 2015, guiding high school students to start successful businesses. Lastly, in 2013, they were a Recreational Coordinator at the Toronto Synchronized Swimming Club, where they ran a program and ensured athletes and coaches met their goals.
Christa Plumley completed their Bachelor of Commerce degree in Business Management at Ryerson University from 2014 to 2017. In 2012, they obtained a Comp Intro- Synchronized Swimming Certification from Synchro Canada.
