Jared Brier

Jared Brier has worked in the travel and event industry since 2010. In 2012, they began working as an Operations Supervisor for Brier & Dunn Destination Management, where they gained knowledge from experienced team members and offered their own knowledge of graphic design, web development, and social media marketing. In 2013, they interned at Blueprint Studios, where they aggregated venues and organized them into an internal database resource, learned CAD to design event/convention floor plans and arrangements, and used their creativity to craft event attendee experiences. In 2015, they founded REDevents and provided entertainment production/planning services and marketing/promotion for events. Jared also wore many hats and improved their skills in web and graphic design, social media and digital marketing, and business development. In the same year, they were offered one of twelve positions out of 300 applicants for a summer internship with JusCollege, where they were trained in social media and internet sales and marketing and assisted with program operations and customer service. In 2017, they founded createdbyRED and designed and developed amazing websites for SMBs and provided consulting for digital tools, operations automation, and digital marketing. Finally, in 2018, they founded AKKO (getAKKO.com) and was rated #1 Phone Insurance by GadgetReview.com.

Jared Brier attended UC San Diego, where they earned a degree in Sociology of Business Management with a minor in Business. Jared's field of study included Business Administration and Management, Innovation, and Finance.
