Anita Sharma

Anita Sharma has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anita began their career as a Research Associate at Cadila Healthcare Limited in 2007, where they focused on developing generic solid oral controlled release pharmaceutical products. Anita then moved to The Ohio State University in 2008, where they worked as a Graduate Teaching Associate, primarily responsible for teaching and grading various topics related to pharmacy. After their time at the university, Anita joined Akorn, Inc in 2013. At Akorn, they held multiple roles, including Formulation Scientist III, Senior Formulation Scientist I, and Research Chemist. Anita worked on formulation development and research projects during their time with the company. Most recently, Anita joined Nexus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in 2019. Anita started as a Senior Formulation Scientist and later became the Lead Formulation Scientist. Anita'sexpertise in formulation development and extensive work experience make their a valuable asset in the pharmaceutical industry.

Anita Sharma obtained their Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) degree from Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. Anita then pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) in Medicinal Chemistry from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, completing their studies from 2005 to 2007. Subsequently, Anita Sharma enrolled at The Ohio State University, where they earned their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. Anita'sdoctoral studies spanned from 2008 to 2013.
