Todd Mabe

Todd Mabe has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Todd currently holds the position of VP of GMP Quality at Akouos, starting in January 2021. Prior to this role, they worked at Merck from 2017 to 2021, initially as the Director of Drug Substance Quality and later as the Executive Director and Global Disposition Quality Lead. From 2012 to 2017, Todd held the position of Head of Biologics, Drug Substance CMO's at Genentech. Before that, they worked at Roche as a Principal Technical Manager from 2005 to 2012. Todd also gained experience at other companies such as Genentech, Allergan, US Pharmacia, Human Genome Sciences, Merck Sharp & Dohme, and Boehringer Ingelheim, holding various roles in validation, project management, and as a scientist.

Todd Mabe attended Colgate University from 1987 to 1990, where they pursued studies in International Relations. Following their time at Colgate, they went on to Western Connecticut State University from 1991 to 1997. During this period, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry.
