Ritu Mihani

Ritu Mihani has a diverse work experience. Ritu is currently working at Akoya Biosciences, Inc. as the Associate Director of Product Marketing since March 2023. Prior to this role, they held the position of Senior Manager of Product Marketing at the same company from August 2022 to March 2023. Before joining Akoya Biosciences, Inc., Ritu worked at GENEWIZ, By Azenta Life Sciences, where they served as the Senior Product Marketing Manager from December 2020 to June 2021 and as the Team Lead of NGS Product Marketing Management from May 2019 to December 2020. Ritu was responsible for developing global marketing strategies and achieving significant customer growth and revenue goals. Ritu also has experience as a Research and Development Scientist II at MMQCI, where they designed and developed control products for molecular diagnostics and launched the NGS G211 Cystic Fibrosis Control Panel. Additionally, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Arkansas, conducting research on cell wall biosynthesis in Rice using ChIP-TAP enabled sequencing. Ritu's work experience also includes a role as a Research Fellow at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda and as a Faculty member at Vista Overseas, where they provided training and counseling for exams and visa applications.

Ritu Mihani holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biotechnology from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar. Ritu then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Medical Biotechnology from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Subsequently, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Arkansas. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications, including "Transitioning from Manager to Leader" from LinkedIn, "Inbound Marketing" from HubSpot, "The Data Scientist's Toolbox" from Coursera, and certifications in Genomic Data Science with Galaxy and Introduction to Genomic Technologies.
