Sergei Alexeev

Sergei Alexeev has extensive experience in finance and management, with a focus on the bioscience industry. Sergei has held various leadership roles at companies such as Akoya Biosciences, Inc., where they currently serve as Vice President Finance. Prior to this, they worked as the VP of Finance at Twist Bioscience and Head of Financial Planning & Analysis at GenMark Diagnostics. Sergei has also held managerial positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Life Technologies, with responsibilities in commercial finance and financial planning & analysis. Before entering the bioscience industry, Sergei gained experience in auditing and commercial finance at General Electric. Sergei has a strong educational background, including an MBA, and has completed internships at Walt Disney World, WVHTC Foundation, and Energia Ltd.

Sergei Alexeev holds an MBA in Business from UNC Charlotte Belk College of Business, which they obtained from 1999 to 2001. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Finance from Fairmont State University between 1994 and 1998. Sergei also has a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics / Computer Science from Korolev College of Space Machine Building and Technology, which they received from 1990 to 1994.
