Nery Polim, Indonesian citizen, was born in Medan in 1964. She earned a bachelor degree in 1988 from California State University of Bakersfield, USA. She was appointed as the Director of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk in 2012.
Nery Polim joined AKR in 1993 as Head of People Development. She is currently serve as Head of West Region and also a Director of PT AKR Niaga Indonesia; a Commissioner of PT Usaha Era Pratama Nusantara, PT Anugah Karya Raya and PT Energi Manyar Sejahtera; also as a President Director of PT Anugerah Krida Retailindo.

Its manufacturing sector comprises sorbitol and adhesive material manufacturing; the plants are located in Surabaya, Indonesia and Liuzhou, China. Through its subsidiaries, the Company owns coal mines in Barito Utara, Indonesia. Its industrial estate segment includes its investment in Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE), an integrated industial estate in Gresik, Indonesia.
