Suresh Vembu

Suresh Vembu, Indian Citizen, born in India in 1964, earned a title as Chartered Accountant from the Indian Institute of Chartered Accountants, New Delhi.

He was appointed as the Director of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk in 2009. Currently he serves as a head of Business Development and Joint Venture Relationships and also as Corporate Secretary of the Company.

Before moving to Indonesia, Suresh Vembu was an Assistant Finance Manager at TVS Electronics Limited, Bangalore (1987-1991), then as Finance Manager of Birla 3M Limited, Bangalore (1991-1995). He joined the Texmaco Group as Finance Commerce/Commercial Manager of PT Perkasa Heavyndo Engineering and PT Texmaco Perkasa Engineering (1995-2001), as General Manager of Corporate Finance (Engineering) - Texmaco (2001 -2004), as Head of Corporate Finance and Investor Relations of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (2004-2007). Currently, he also serves as President Commisisioner of PT Aneka Petroindo Raya and Commissioner of PT Dirgantara Petroindo Raya, PT Anugerah Lubrindo Raya and PT Anugerah Lubrindo Batam.
