Jerad Babu Rao

Jerad Babu Rao has a strong background in the textile and apparel industry, with extensive experience in marketing, garment professional, and merchandising roles. Jerad Babu most recently served as the Marketing Head at Akr Textile from July 2018 to June 2019, and also had a previous stint as the Marketing Head at the same company from July 2018 to the present. Prior to that, Jerad was self-employed as a freelance apparel professional from April 2016 to July 2018. Jerad Babu also held the position of Business Head at K Mohan & Company export pvt. ltd. from July 1998 to January 2016. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Merchandiser at TEXPORT OVERSEAS from October 1997 to June 1998, and as a Senior Merchandiser at FIBRES AND FABRICS INTERNATIONAL PVT.LTD from September 1996 to October 1997.

Jerad Babu Rao attended St.Josephs Indian High School in Bangalore from 1978 to 1981. Jerad Babu then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Commerce and Management at Christ University, Bangalore, graduating in 1987. Jerad furthered their education by completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PGDBA) at St Joseph's Institute of Management in 1988, focusing on commerce and management.
