Margaret Hopkins

Margaret Hopkins, P.E. serves as Vice President at AKRF, Inc. since 2015, leading climate resilience and adaptation initiatives, focusing on enhancing the resilience of the built and natural environment against climate change through various projects. In 2021, Margaret served as an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Columbia University, mentoring graduate students in urban water management. Previous experience includes working as an Environmental Engineer at CDM Smith, where involvement centered on public sector green infrastructure and resiliency projects, and as a participant in GE Aviation's Operations Management Leadership Program, handling environmental and safety projects in the aerospace sector. Margaret earned a Master of Engineering in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in the same field from Duke University.
