Colin Grindall is an experienced instructional coach and science educator currently serving at Akron Public Schools since August 2013. In the role of New Tech Instructional Coach, Colin specializes in guiding teachers at Buchtel CLC to implement project-based learning practices developed by the New Tech Network, aimed at fostering equitable and enriching learning environments. Previous experience includes teaching robotics and automation, mentoring as an Ohio Teaching Fellow, and instructing advanced chemistry and physics courses in a selective school. Colin's earlier roles also encompass providing technical solutions at Apple and advising on environmental legislation as a legislative assistant. Colin holds a Master of Education in Life Sciences Education from John Carroll University and dual Bachelor's degrees in Biology and History from George Mason University and The College of Wooster, respectively.
