Gina Angle, SHRM-CP, PHR has over 20 years of experience in human resources. Their most recent role was as an Employee Relations HR at Akron-Summit County Public Library, where they have been since 2018. Prior to that, they served as a Human Resources Manager at Youngstown Area Goodwill Industries from 2015 to 2016. Gina also worked as a Senior Human Resources Business Partner at the State of North Carolina Office of State Human Resources from 2014 to 2015. Before that, Gina was a Human Resources Manager/Benefits Administrator at the State of North Carolina Department of Public Instruction from 2013 to 2014. Gina also served as a Human Resources Generalist at the North Carolina Department of Commerce from 2008 to 2013, and as a Human Resources Assistant at the State of North Carolina Department of Health & Human Services from 2007 to 2008. Gina began their career as an HR Manager/Talent Acquisition at ATS/Delphi Automotive from 1999 to 2005.

Gina obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management from William Peace University in 2008. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on general business, from Youngstown State University, and completed it in 2018. In 2014, Gina Angle enrolled in Duke University Continuing Education to earn a certificate in Human Resources. Additionally, they pursued further certifications to enhance their professional credentials. Gina Angle obtained the Professional in Human Resources® (PHR®) certification from HRCI in December 2000 and the SHRM - CP certification from the Society of Human Resources Management in August 2015.
