Asiye Karakullukçu

Asiye Karakullukçu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Asiye is the Founder and CEO of Aksense, a position they have held since August 2017. In 2017, they also worked as an Editor for the Journal of Pediatric Infectious Diseases (JPID) until January 2020.

Asiye Karakullukçu's education history is as follows:

Asiye obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Medical Microbiology from Cerrahpasa Medical School of Istanbul University. Asiye attended this school from 2011 to 2016.

Prior to their Ph.D., they pursued a Master's degree in Medical Microbiology and Bacteriology at Cerrahpasa Medical School of Istanbul University. Asiye completed this program from 2008 to 2010.

Their undergraduate studies were divided between two institutions. Asiye earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Anadolu University. Asiye attended Anadolu University from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained another Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from Marmara University. Asiye completed this program from 2004 to 2008.

Aside from their formal education, Asiye Karakullukçu has obtained several certifications. Asiye was recognized as the LIF alumni champion for Turkey at the Royal Academy of Engineering in April 2021. In 2018, they were selected as a BIO Startup 2018 Turkey Finalist by TEPAV | Economic Policy Research Foundation of Turkey. Asiye also received the Leaders in Innovation Fellowship from the Royal Academy of Engineering in February 2018. Furthermore, they participated in the UK Discovery Trips promoting R&D partnerships organized by Innovate UK, specifically in March 2019.
