Jeremy Bechelli Ph.D.

Jeremy Bechelli, Ph.D., has extensive work experience in the field of biotechnology and scientific research. Jeremy is currently serving as a Senior Scientist I - Assay Development and Quality Control at Akston Biosciences Corporation since 2023. Previously, from 2022 to 2023, they worked at Jounce Therapeutics, Inc. as a Senior Scientist, specializing in Translational Exploratory Clinical Immunology. During this time, they evaluated biomarkers of response to targeted cancer therapies and performed immunoassays using flow cytometry and protein-based assays. Jeremy also served as a Biosafety Officer for the company.

Prior to that, from 2018 to 2022, Dr. Bechelli worked as an Assistant Professor of Microbiology at Sam Houston State University. Furthermore, Dr. Bechelli started their career as an Adjunct Instructor of Biology at Monroe Community College from 2009 to 2011, where they taught various biology courses and mentored students.
