Tommi Orpana

Tommi Orpana has extensive work experience in the banking and financial sector. Tommi is currently the Chief Risk Officer at Aktia, where they are responsible for the Risk Control function. Tommi has a strong background in credit risk analytics, risk management, and bank capitalization. Prior to this, Tommi held various senior roles at Nordea and Aktia, focusing on credit risk management and business risk management. Tommi also has experience at the Finnish Financial Supervisory Authority, GMAC Bank GmbH, and OP-Pohjola Group Central Cooperative, where they worked in risk analysis and management. Tommi's career started at the Financial Supervision Authority and Aalto University School of Science and Technology, where they worked as a banking supervisor and researcher, respectively.

Tommi Orpana obtained their MSc in Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, specializing in Engineering Physics, from 1992 to 2000.
