Asil Can Çon

Asil Can ÇON has a diverse work experience in the field of IT auditing, information security, and risk management. They began their career as an Intern at enmar mühendislik in 2016, followed by internships at KPMG Türkiye in 2017 and 2018. In 2018, they also interned at ENKA İnşaat ve Sanayi A.Ş. Engineering for a better future.

In 2019, Asil joined KPMG Türkiye as an Information Risk Management Assistant, where they gained expertise in enterprise risk management, information security, and compliance with standards such as COBIT, ISO27001, and ITIL. They transitioned to the role of Information Risk Management Experienced Assistant in October 2020 and continued until June 2021.

After their tenure at KPMG Türkiye, Asil joined Fibabanka as an Authorized Assistant IT Auditor in June 2021. They were responsible for developing audit guidelines, assessing banking processes, and preparing audit reports in accordance with regulatory standards.

In December 2021, Asil worked as a Senior IT Risk Services Consultant at GLOBAL TRUST, where they provided IT risk consulting services.

From May to September 2022, Asil worked as an Information Security Engineer at Yapı Kredi Teknoloji.

Currently, Asil is working at Aktif Bank as an IT Auditor, where they are responsible for executing risk-based IT audits, developing audit guidelines, evaluating banking processes, and preparing audit reports.

Asil Can ÇON holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Istanbul Kultur University, which was obtained between 2014 and 2019. Some of the certifications include ISO 27001 Lead Auditor from Exemplar Global, Inc. in November 2022, Cybersecurity Essentials from Cisco in October 2022, Cyber Threat Management from Cisco in March 2022, and Endpoint Security from Cisco in March 2022, among others.
