Sevan Kutlu

Sevan Kutlu has a strong background in risk management and financial services. They have extensive experience in various roles, including Head of Risk Management at Aktif Bank from December 2021 to present. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Manager at Risk Assurance Services at PwC Turkey from September 2019 to November 2021, where they provided advisory and analytic services to financial institutions in areas such as Basel IV, IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss, and risk parameter estimation models.

Before joining PwC Turkey, Sevan worked at Prometeia as a Senior Consultant and Consultant at Financial Services from June 2018 to August 2019 and from April 2017 to June 2018, respectively. They also gained experience as a Data Analytics Expert at the Risk Center of The Banks Association of Turkey from June 2016 to March 2017.

Sevan's earlier experience includes working as a Manager at Credit Risk Management at Bank Audi from October 2012 to May 2016, Assistant Manager at Financial Risk Management at ING Türkiye from October 2011 to October 2012, and Supervisor at Credit Risk Analytics at BNP Paribas Fortis from February 2008 to April 2011.

Sevan Kutlu's education history begins with attending Getronagan Armenian High School from 1999 to 2002, where they focused on the study of Mathematics. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Econometrics at Marmara University from 2003 to 2007. Later, they continued their education at the same university, completing a Master's degree in Operations Research from 2007 to 2010. Currently, Sevan Kutlu is enrolled at Anadolu University, where they are pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Banking and Financial Support Services, expected to be completed between the years 2022 and 2024.
