Uğur Sözen

Uğur Sözen has a diverse work experience in the banking industry. Uğur currently holds the position of Corporate Marketing Senior Director at Aktif Bank since September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Fibabanka as the Corporate Banking Unit Head from February 2016 to September 2021. Before that, they served as the Corporate Banking Manager at Akbank from September 2012 to February 2016. Uğur also gained experience at Fibabanka as the Manager of Corporate Banking Sales and Marketing from April 2011 to September 2012. Uğur started their career at Credit Europe Bank N.V. in June 2006 as a Senior Account Manager in Corporate Banking Sales and Marketing, where they worked until April 2011. Uğur also worked as a Senior Account Manager in Commercial Banking Sales and Marketing at Garanti Bankası from August 2005 to June 2006, and as an Account Manager in Commercial Banking Sales and Marketing at Yapı Kredi from February 2002 to June 2005.

Uğur Sözen completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Marmara University from 1995 to 1999. Later, from 2017 to 2019, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Executive MBA from Özyeğin University.
