Gerardo Garnica Benítez

Gerardo Garnica Benítez is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in software architecture and development, currently employed at Aktiun since March 2022. Previously, Gerardo served as a software architect at Grupo DIFARE from November 2011 to March 2022, achieving significant reductions in code lines and development time through the creation of a microservices framework. Gerardo also developed critical management software modules for a vast network of drugstores, enhancing retail sales by 20%. Earlier roles included consulting at Cheine Consulting Corp, where integrations with Microsoft Dynamics were developed, and senior development positions at Image Tech and Nuevas Tecnologías del Ecuador, where e-commerce solutions and retail ERP systems were implemented.
