Justin Viiret

Justin Viiret is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and development. At Akuna Capital, Justin has progressed from Developer to Trading Platform Tech Lead (APAC) since June 2018. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Intel Corporation from October 2013 to February 2018, working on the core Hyperscan team following the acquisition of Sensory Networks, and contributing to various projects related to high-performance regex engines. Justin began the career as a Software Engineer at Sensory Networks, focusing on application support for hardware regex accelerators and core library development. Additionally, Justin was a co-founder of Cyburbia Network Services, a dial-up and web hosting provider, and held the position of Programmer at SE Network Access. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Telecommunications Engineering and a B.Eng. in Information Technology & Telecommunications, both from the University of Adelaide.
