Yi-Jen Chen, Dr.

Yi-Jen Chen, Dr. has a diverse work experience in the field of research and data analysis. They began their career as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Academia Sinica, Taiwan in 2008. They then worked as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at National Taiwan University from 2009 to 2012. In 2012, they joined Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY as a Doctoral Researcher, where they remained until 2018. Following this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Yi-Jen Chen holds the position of Data Scientist at AKUR8, starting in September 2021.

Yi-Jen Chen, Dr. has a strong educational background in physics. Yi-Jen obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from National Taiwan University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Yi-Jen then pursued further studies in the same field and earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics from National Taiwan University, completing their studies from 2009 to 2011.

Continuing their academic journey, Dr. Chen enrolled at the University of Hamburg and pursued a Doctor rerum naturalium (Dr. rer. nat.) degree in Physics. Yi-Jen dedicated seven years of their life from 2012 to 2019 to conduct in-depth research in their field of study.

Dr. Yi-Jen Chen has also obtained additional certifications to expand their knowledge and skills. Yi-Jen completed the Deep Learning Specialization from Coursera in November 2020. In August 2020, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python, which they completed through edX. Additionally, Dr. Chen completed a course on Machine Learning from Coursera in May 2020. These certifications demonstrate their commitment to staying updated with the advancements in their field and acquiring new skills.
