Rolf Arne Hult Jakobsen

Rolf Arne Hult Jakobsen is a Senior Software Engineer at AKVA group ASA since November 2017, where responsibilities include serving as the product owner for the AKVA Oceanographic Environmental Buoy and developing cloud solutions for environmental buoys. Previously, Rolf Arne held the position of Product Champion for the PLC-based control system for mud pumps and also worked as a Systems Engineer at National Oilwell Varco from August 2011 to October 2017, focusing on the design and development of control systems for drilling equipment, managing software for R&D projects, and overseeing installations on drilling rigs in South Korea. Rolf Arne obtained a Master of Science in Engineering Cybernetics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and completed a one-year program in Economics, also at NTNU, in addition to studies at UC Santa Barbara.
