Wei Zhao

Wei Zhao, PhD, is an experienced professional in the fields of engineering and technology. Currently serving as the RnD Project Manager at AKVA group since September 2023, Wei Zhao also holds the position of Founder and CEO at ShareAiO AS, where responsibilities include the development and operation of a digital platform for publishing advertisements and social networking. Prior roles include Senior Technical Engineer at Ennox Technology AS, overseeing projects related to soil remediation and water treatment systems, and Senior Engineer positions at Small Turbine Partner AS and Energi Teknikk AS, focusing on turbine design and optimization. Wei Zhao began an academic career as a Research Fellow at the Fluid Engineering division of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, following a comprehensive educational background with a PhD in Fluid Machinery and Engineering from NTNU, as well as master’s and bachelor’s degrees from China Agricultural University.
