Andre Almeida

Andre Almeida has extensive experience in procurement and project management. Andre currently holds the position of Procurement Director LATAM at AkzoNobel, a role they have been in since 2018. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing procurement operations in South and North America. Prior to this, Andre worked at Axalta Coating Systems as an Indirect Procurement Manager for Brazil and the LatAm Regional IT Category Manager. Andre was responsible for developing procurement strategies and executing strategic sourcing projects. Before that, Andre worked as a Senior Consultant at Xcelis, where they led strategic sourcing projects. Andre also has experience as a Project Manager at Level Group BR and as a Specialist Manager at Aquanima. Andre began their career as a Sr. Procurement Analyst at ABN AMRO Bank and as an Analyst II at Webb.

Andre Almeida earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Administration e Negócios from Insper Instituto de Ensino e Pesquisa in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in the years 2000 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Andre has also pursued further education through certifications, such as the Business Analytics for Leaders Program from IMD (to be obtained in 2023) and the OUBEP Summer Programme 2021 - Markets & the Globalised Economy from the University of Oxford.
