Janine Krönung

Janine Krönung is an experienced communication professional currently serving as the Director of Global Communication Services at AkzoNobel since January 2017. In this role, Janine oversees the Project Management, Creative Services, Editorial, and Digital Communications teams, leading key campaigns such as Paint the Future and the Collaborate Sustainability challenge. Prior to this position, Janine held various roles including Head of Functional Communications at AkzoNobel, where strategic communications for corporate functions were developed and executed, and Global Communications Manager for Paints and Coatings, focused on leadership engagement strategies. Janine’s prior experience includes senior strategic communications roles at ING, with responsibilities spanning internal and external messaging, digital transformation communications, and event direction. Janine holds an MBA in Communication & Leadership from Quadriga University of Applied Sciences and a Magistra Artium in Communication & Media Science and Sociology from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg.
