Johan Matthijs

Johan Matthijs has amassed extensive experience in supply chain management over a career spanning more than two decades. Currently, Johan serves as the CoE Global Planning Director and Supply Chain Director for Automotive & Specialties Coatings at AkzoNobel since July 2021. Prior roles include Director and Vaccine Supply Chain Lead at GSK - Vaccines from October 2014 to May 2021, as well as multiple regional planning positions at BP - Lubricants from August 2011 to August 2014. Earlier in the career, Johan held various planning management roles at Bridgestone from March 2002 to 2011 and served as a Senior Analyst at Gillette/Duracell from 1997 to 2002. Johan holds a Master's Degree in Commercial Engineering from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, earned between 1991 and 1997.
