Kasun Ranasinghe

Kasun Ranasinghe is an experienced quality management professional currently serving as the Quality Manager at AkzoNobel since May 2023, responsible for executing the Quality Excellence Strategy and managing quality processes. Prior to this role, Ranasinghe held the position of Head of Quality Assurance at Samson International PLC, overseeing product development and compliance with various international standards. Previous experience includes consulting as an Organic Chemist at Invencian, co-founding innoKemex Polymer Consulting, and working in various roles focused on research, development, and quality assurance in organizations such as Kamal PVC Industries Ltd and ACL Cables PLC. Ranasinghe holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Wolverhampton, a Master’s Degree in Polymer Science and Technology from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Colombo.
