Raffaele Maresca

Raffaele Maresca is a seasoned cybersecurity expert currently serving as the Global CISO at AkzoNobel since December 2021, overseeing global information and cyber security. Prior experience includes roles as the Global CISO at Perfetti Van Melle and Arcadis, where responsibilities encompassed information security and cyber risk management. Raffaele's career began at Telecom Italia Mobile as a Senior Mobile Core Network Architect before moving to Telecom Italia, where significant contributions were made in building the cyber security architecture and engineering department. Raffaele also led the Cyber Security Business Unit at BV-Tech and managed cyber security product initiatives at Verint Systems. Raffaele holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II.
