Roger Jakeman

Roger Jakeman has been working in the corporate world for over 25 years. Roger started their career at ICI Paints as a Technical Manager in France. Roger then moved to Rio Tinto, where they held various positions including Vice President of the Global Coatings Business Unit and Vice President of the European Coatings Business Unit. In 2006, they joined AkzoNobel as Marketing Director. Roger then became Director of RD&I for AkzoNobel Decorative Coatings in 2015. Roger's current position is Chief Technology Officer at AkzoNobel.

Roger Jakeman earned both their doctorates and masters from the University of Oxford. Roger also has a master of arts from the same school. Roger's doctor of philosophy is also from the University of Oxford.

Roger Jakeman works with Hilka Schneider - General Counsel, Joëlle Boxus - Chief Human Resources Officer, and Maarten de Vries - CFO. Roger Jakeman reports to Thierry Vanlancker, CEO & Chairman.
