Steven van Den Biggelaar

Steven van den Biggelaar has had an extensive career in the procurement field. Steven started their career at DSM as the Coating Resins BU Purchasing Manager and later took on the role of Composite Resins BU Purchasing Manager. Steven then became the CPO of DSM Resins & Functional Materials. After their time at DSM, Steven joined allnex (formerly Nuplex Resins) as the CPO, where they were responsible for global purchasing. Steven achieved significant savings and received recognition for their results. Following that, Steven worked at Novasol Chemicals Group as the Manager of the Material Science Division, where they led a successful business transformation. Steven is currently working at AkzoNobel as the Global Sourcing Director Resins, where they are responsible for defining and executing the sourcing strategy for purchased resins and resin pre-cursors. Steven has also held the role of Global Director Resins, focusing on innovation and optimizing the company's benefits and value. Prior to this, they were the Director of Purchasing Excellence at AkzoNobel, leading the transformation of procurement with new digital technology and sustainable solutions.
