Amjid Ali

Amjid Ali has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amjid has excelled in various roles within the information technology field. Amjid's experience includes leadership positions such as Head of Transformation and Growth at Al Ansari Trading Enterprise LLC, where they focused on driving organizational change and growth through the adoption of new technologies and processes. Amjid also served as the General Manager Information Technology at Al Yusr International, where they spearheaded initiatives aimed at streamlining processes and driving growth through the implementation of innovative solutions. In their role at Al Saleh Group of Companies, Amjid showcased their ability to bridge the gap between IT and business operations as the Head of Information Technology. Amjid successfully implemented an ERP system and developed effective IT strategies aligned with the organization's overall business objectives. Additionally, they gained valuable teaching experience as a Computer Science Instructor at Mahl College of Information Technology and Pearl Valley International. Amjid's expertise extends to freelance work as a Computer Engineer, where they worked with various clients to set up their ICT infrastructure and developed customized accounting and inventory systems. Throughout their career, Amjid has demonstrated strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a dedication to driving organizational success through technology initiatives.

Amjid Ali completed their Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) with a focus on Accounting and Finance from the University of the Punjab in 2000. Amjid then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology at the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including ACS Certified Professional (Cyber Security) in 2018, PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2018, COBIT5 Foundation certification in 2017, and ITIL certification from EXIN in 2014. Amjid also holds various Microsoft certifications achieved in 2011. Amjid further expanded their skills and knowledge by completing other professional certificate programs, including Certified Intelligent Executive Leader, Design Thinking Innovation, and Global CIO 200 from the Global CIO Forum, with an expected completion year of 2023. Amjid also obtained the Impro ACS certification in 2015 and the CDCP - Certified Data Centre Professional certification from EPI in the same year.
