Niamh Cooney (MacDonagh)

Niamh Cooney (MacDonagh) has a diverse range of work experience spanning several companies and roles. From 2018 onwards, Niamh has worked at A&L Goodbody, initially as the Head of Talent Development and later taking on the additional responsibility of overseeing the Graduate Talent program. Prior to this, Niamh owned their own consulting firm, NC Consulting, starting in 2013. At NC Consulting, they worked with both private enterprises and government agencies, providing support in areas such as strategy development, management development initiatives, and program management.

Before starting their own firm, Niamh spent a significant portion of their career at Enterprise Ireland. From 2002 to 2004, they worked as a Development Advisor, managing a portfolio of clients and providing them with business development support. From 2004 to 2007, they served as a Senior Corporate Development Advisor, and from 2007 to 2013, they managed the Client Management Development unit, which involved the design and delivery of capability building solutions for Enterprise Ireland's clients.

Niamh's earlier experience includes working as an Analyst at Accenture from 2000 to 2002. In this role, they collaborated with teams to develop and deliver technical solutions, with a notable project involving the development of an online corporate banking solution for AIB.

Niamh Cooney (MacDonagh) completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & Finance at Trinity College Dublin from 1996 to 2000. In 2004, they pursued further education at the Irish Management Institute (IMI) and obtained a Diploma in Applied Finance, which they completed in 2005.
