Rana al-Sabawi

Rana Al-Sabawi serves as the Assistant Principal at Al-Iman School since July 2018, where responsibilities include designing professional learning programs, coaching educators for instructional improvement, and developing instructional materials using various digital tools. Previously, Rana held the role of Instructional Coach and Instructor at the same institution from August 2017 to June 2018, focusing on course development and job-embedded support for educators. Prior experience includes curriculum development for MAC, emphasizing culturally responsive teaching, and leading instructional methods at Olive Grove Charter School from 2007 to 2016. Rana's academic background includes a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Western University, along with various specializations in education from Queen's University.
