Shakir Khan

Shakir Khan is a seasoned broadcast and streaming engineer currently serving as a Senior Broadcast and Streaming Engineer in the Network Operation Centre at Al Jazeera Media Network since November 2021. With extensive experience across various companies, Shakir has previously worked as an Engineer Level 2 Operation at Ericsson, where the focus was on the operation of regional Headends for Virgin Media UK, and as an RF Engineer at Planetcast Media Services Limited, specializing in compression and video technologies. Shakir also held roles as an Executive Engineer at Bharti Airtel and Assistant Engineer at Dish TV, managing uplink and downlink channels. Shakir is pursuing a PGDM in Data Science and Machine Learning at Birchwood University, building on a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering obtained from Motivational Pathway.
