Mohammed Athar

Mohammed Athar has extensive experience in banking and finance, currently serving as Assistant Manager in the Credit Administration Department at Al Maryah Community Bank since December 2022. Prior to this role, Mohammed held the position of Assistant Manager in Credit Risk Control at First Abu Dhabi Bank's Islamic Banking Division from January 2008 to June 2020, where responsibilities included managing post-approval processes, ensuring security compliance, and training junior staff. Mohammed also gained valuable operational experience as Deputy Manager in Branch Operations at HDFC Bank in early 2007. Mohammed holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from V.B.S Purvanchal University, obtained between 1989 and 1992.
