Margaret Benze

Margaret Benze is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in grant management and development within non-profit organizations. Currently serving as Development Manager at Al Otro Lado since September 2021, Margaret previously held the position of Grants Manager at Restaurant Opportunities Centers United from June 2019 to September 2021. Prior experience includes Special Events and Development Manager at Catholic Charities of Onondaga County and Grants Manager at Cleveland Rape Crisis Center. Margaret began their career as a Counselor/Advocate at SafeHouse Center and has also contributed as a Capital Campaign Co-coordinator and Organizer at Interfaith Action of Southwest Florida. Earlier roles include serving as a Volunteer with AmeriCorps. Academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Spanish and History from John Carroll University, earned in 2008.
