Dr. Tarek Abudawood

Dr. Tarek Abudawood is a seasoned expert in artificial intelligence and data science with extensive leadership experience across various sectors. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Real-time Decisioning at Al Rajhi Bank since January 2024, Dr. Abudawood focuses on developing real-time recommendation strategies aligned with the bank's objectives. Previous roles include Senior Research & Innovation Executive and Chief Data Scientist at SITE, where contributions were made to artificial intelligence consultancy and innovation. Dr. Abudawood has held notable positions such as Assistant Professor of Artificial Intelligence at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology and Board Member of the Masters of Science Program in Modeling & Computational Sciences at Alfaisal University. With a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Bristol, Dr. Abudawood has led various significant projects and served on several scientific committees, enhancing capabilities in AI and computational technologies.
