Mutasem Abu Baker's work experience begins in 1996 when they joined Juma Al Majid Group as an Assistant Head of Group Finance. Mutasem worked there until 2005. From 2005 to 2011, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Buhaleeba Group. Following that, they worked at Al Mutasem Consultancy for Accounting & Tax Services as the General Manager from 2012 to 2013. From 2013 to 2015, they held the role of Group Chief Officer - Finance, Administration & IT at Diamond Developers. Mutasem then served as the Senior Financial Controller at National Marine Dredging Company from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, they joined West Coast Group as the Group Financial Controller until 2019. From 2019 to 2020, they held the position of Finance & Administration Director at Abu Dhabi Cooperative Society. Currently, they are working as the Chief Financial Officer at Al Sahraa Holding Group since October 2020.
Mutasem Abu Baker achieved their Bachelor's degree in Major Accounting with a Minor in Economics from the University of Jordan from 1989 to 1992. Mutasem furthered their professional qualifications in accounting by obtaining the title of Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the New Hampshire Board of Accountancy starting in 2012. Additionally, they acquired a professional certificate in the field of accounting from The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ACPA) in 2001.
