Imran Albalooshi

Imran AlBalooshi, CAMS, CIPA, is an experienced professional in Islamic finance and Sharia compliance, currently serving as the Senior Manager in the Sharia Compliance Department at Al Salam Bank-Bahrain since October 2021. Prior to this role, Imran held significant positions at Venture Capital Bank, including Head of Shari'a Compliance and Sharia Reviewer, from July 2016 to September 2021. Imran's career in Sharia research began at the Sunni waqf Directorate from June 2013 to July 2016. Imran's academic qualifications include an Advanced Diploma in Islamic Finance and an Advanced Diploma in Islamic Commercial Jurisprudence from the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance, and a Master's degree in Islamic Jurisprudence and a Bachelor of Science in Judicature (Islamic Law) from Umm Al-Qura University.
