The seed of Al Wefag’s development started in 1968 in the heart of Old Jeddah.  From an obscure wholesaler specializing in sweets, we have grown not by leaps and bounds but by steady cultivation of people and products, gradual development of brands, and constant supply of consumer satisfaction.   Al Wefag has prospered into a full-fledged marketing institution, engaged both in manufacturing and brand building.

1977- Sales Distribution Set Up
1980- First Borgat product was introduced- Choco Snack
1995- Dandormah Ice Pop Factory Opened
1999-2003- Key Partner Brands were launched (Trolli,Choco Pie, Kagi, Kopiko)
2005- Al Wefag Manufacturing expanded to Savory snacks and Fruit Jelly
2012- An Advanced and integrated Lollipop Plant was established
