Lindsay Barton

Lindsay Barton currently serves as an Assistant Attorney General at the Alabama Office of the Attorney General, focusing on Consumer Protection, Utilities, and Environmental Law since November 2022. Prior to this role, Lindsay held positions as an Assistant District Attorney with the 19th Judicial Circuit and worked as a Law Clerk at the Alabama Department of Environmental Management and the Alabama Office of the Attorney General. Education includes a Juris Doctor from Faulkner University Thomas Goode Jones School of Law and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Mississippi, where Lindsay also studied English Language and Literature. Additional experience includes internships and roles in sales and student support at various organizations.
