Stringer Dana

Stringer Dana serves as a CTE Education Specialist in Standards & Accountability at the Alabama Department of Education since January 2021, overseeing the quality review process for the state's Career and Technical Education programs and developing instructional materials to support quality standards. Prior experience includes roles as an Education Specialist, State HOSA Advisor, and PLTW Biomed State Leader at the Alabama State Department of Education-Career and Technical Education from 2014 to January 2021, and as a Health Science Instructor at Elmore County Technical Center from 2000 to 2014. Dana's background also includes critical care nursing roles at Prattville Baptist Hospital and St. Margaret's Hospital and early experience as an EMT III-A at Haynes Ambulance Service. Academic credentials include a Master’s Degree in Instructional Leadership from Auburn University at Montgomery and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the same institution, along with a Career and Technical Education Teaching Certificate from Athens State University.
